We welcome all allies – individuals, families, non-investing women of color, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) vendors, nonprofits, and corporations – to join in furthering WOC Give’s mission by registering as a WOC Give Partner.
Your partnership will help center BIPOC voices as they direct dollars to causes that promote, advance, and develop their communities.
Those who identify as a woman of color and are interested in deeper engagement with WOC Give through volunteering, attending networking events, nominating nonprofits, and voting on grant distributions are invited to register as a WOC Give Investor.
Non-investor individuals or group allies that donate to the WOC Give Donor-Advised Fund in any dollar amount.
BIPOC vendors and ventures, non-investing BIWOC, funded partners (WOC Give grant recipients), and other nonprofits that are doing similar work to support and elevate the BIPOC community.
Individuals and organizations that contribute a cash or in-kind donation to support WOC Give operations through a specific event or initiative.
Supporters are individual or group allies that donate to the WOC Give Donor Advised-Fund in any dollar amount.
Supporters are in a true allyship model of capital redistribution and investment. These are the family, friends, and members of the WOC Give network near and far. They love our investors and the world we are building with our mission, and they want to support and further this work.
Collaborators are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) vendors and ventures, WOC Give Investors (that own a separate entity or business), BIWOC donors who did not fulfill their annual $300 investment requirements, and future WOC Give Investors. They may also be funded partners (WOC Give grant recipients) and other nonprofits that are doing similar work to support and elevate the BIPOC community.
Collaborators are those in a reciprocity model. WOC Give is deliberate with the dollars we spend. As BIWOC, we are intentionally seeking out collaborations (events, projects, programs, etc.) with groups that have intersecting identities with our organization.
Sponsors provide in-kind or cash donations directed towards a specific event or initiative either to the WOC Give Donor-Advised Fund or Operations Fund. Sponsors gain visibility through sponsorship recognition tiers across various social channels targeted during the specific event or initiative, and are part of our growing number of individual and corporate donors. Sponsors are also individuals or companies that choose to cover the annual dues of an Investor.
Sponsors can be transactional, but we seek to build relationships with them as trusted partners.
Your partnership empowers charitable organizations and causes in West Michigan to invest in projects for and by communities of color on the West Michigan Lakeshore.
